Gordy has a stock of Aged Sitka spruce tops from 1976 that is used for special occasions or per customer request. Gordy has used one of these tops in this distinctive Artist Series guitar. To go with this special aged top, a rich caramel colored gloss lacquer finish was created with Koa wood soundhole rosette & binding; the back and sides are Indian Rosewood. A Florentine-styled cut-away was added for ease of playing and included the new Gotoh 510 tuning machines (very smooth!).
